Andrea Newcomer, M.S.

Andrea Newcomer

 

 

Andrea is a behavior analyst who works with children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities.  She began working as a therapist in 2001 when she was trained in a program supervised by ORL (then, Fabrizio/Moors Consulting).  

Since then, Andrea has earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western Washington University, and more recently, she graduated from the University of North Texas with a Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis.  Coursework and applied experiences focused on the behavior analytic treatment for children with autism, early intervention for toddlers with autism, and parent training. 

Andrea’s other experiences include serving as a precision teaching instructor at the FEAT of Washington Summer Academic Program, an internship at Rutgers’ Douglas Developmental Disabilities Center, participating in Morningside Academy’s Summer Institute, and as a senior coach for Easter Seals’ Autism Treatment Program in Carrollton, Texas.

She has presented both her academic and professional work at statewide and national conferences.  Her memberships include the Standard Celeration Society, Association of Behavior Analysis, and the Texas Association of Behavior Analysis.
