Kristin Foley, M.Ed., BCBA

Consultant

Emerson Foley

While Kristin holds a Master's degree in Education with teacher certification from Antioch University as well as certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, her love for children extends back many years when she began teaching in preschool classrooms. After being recruited out of the classroom in 1999 by Michael Fabrizio, Kristin joined the staff of the Organization for Research and Learning as a Lead Therapist, then a Program Manager, and finally as a Consultant. With more than 3000 hours of direct experience in implementing and supervising the intervention programs of children with autism, Kristin continues to excel in her work with children with autism and related disabilities. In addition to her degrees, Kristin also holds a graduate certificate in behavior analysis from the Department of Behavior Analysis at the University of North Texas.

In September 2006, Kristin accepted a part-time contract with Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT) of Washington to serve as their Program Director for Rising Star Academy, FEAT's model preschool and kindergarten program for children with autism and their socially typical peers.

Kristin has presented her applied work with children with autism at both the national conference of the Association for Behavior Analysis and the International Precision Teaching Conference. She has published her work with children with autism in the Journal of Precision Teaching and Celeration, was voted FEAT of Washington's Therapist of the Month, maintains professional memberships in the Association for Behavior Analysis and the Standard Celeration Society, and is a contributor to the Society for the Advancement of Behavior Analysis.

Of all of her many achievements to date, Kristin (and her husband Jon) are most proud of their son Emerson Michael Foley, born in October 2007.

In July 2009 Kristin and her family left Seattle and moved to New Jersey where Kristin joined the staff of Rutgers University's Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center.
