Sara Pahl, BCaBA

Consultant

Sara is a Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCABA) who received her BA in psychology in 1998 from the University of Minnesota and is currently completing here Master's degree. She began working with children with autism in 1995 in a day treatment program. Sara has worked in preschool settings with special needs and typically-developing children, and worked as a respite care provider. After moving to Washington, Sara worked with adults with autism as a life skills coordinator for two years. She began working with O.R.L. in 1999 as a Lead Therapist. In 2001, Sara began program managing for O.R.L., and in 2002 began consulting for O.R.L.. Sara worked as the primary grade teacher in the Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT) of Washington summer school program in 2002 and currently serves as the Program Director for FEAT of Washington's Transitions for Teens program, a program which delivers high quality services to adolescents and young adults with autism. Sara has presented her applied clinical work with children with autism at conference such as the Association for Behavior Analysis and the International Precision Teaching Conference, has published her work in the Journal of Precision Teaching and Celeration and the Behavior Analyst Today , and maintains professional memberships in both the Standard Celeration Society and the Association for Behavior Analysis.
