General Course Information: |
SAFMEDS SAFMEDS stands for "Say All Fast a Minute Every Day Shuffled". SAFMEDS are basically flashcards. The front of each flashcard will contain textual information intended to occasion a given response. You will read the textual prompt aloud and then say the intended response from the back of the card (without looking first). For example, the front of the card might say, "Verbal response occasioned by a feature of the environment and maintained by generalized reinforcement" and you should say, "A tact." I will post the content of the front and the back of each SAFMEDS card you are to construct on the class web site. The SAFMEDS cards will correspond to each of the three major goal areas of the course (analysis of instructional content, linking assessment to treatment, and data-based decision making.) Your responsibilities will be to: 1. Actually make the cards
- you may use whatever materials you would like, although 3"X5"
blank flashcards will be just great. |
