HOME BASED ABA THERAPY IN SEATTLE, WA
Transforming daily life through in-home ABA care
At ORL, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and the most meaningful progress happens in the spaces where children live, play, and learn. We provide high-quality, individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in your child’s natural environments, including at home, in school, and in the community.
Our treatment plans are designed to do more than teach individual skills, they’re built to shift your child’s developmental path, helping them build confidence, independence, and the ability to fully engage in life.
- Personalized, 1:1 support
- Delivered at home, school, or both
- Comfortable, familiar learning spaces
- Collaboration with family and educators
What ABA Therapy helps with?
Decades of research show ABA can be a highly effective intervention for teaching new skills, and can address behaviors of concern by redesigning expectations and experiences, and building successful alternatives for getting those needs met. The intervention intensity that is best for each child varies. Current ORL client doses range from 4 hour per week to 22 hours per week. Establishing a weekly service dose is a collaborative process between parents, the client, and ORL clinicians. Our ABA therapy treatment plans are designed to match each child’s unique strengths, goals, and learning pace.
With comprehensive ABA therapy a child can:
- Learn to express wants, needs, and ideas more clearly.
- Build stronger connections and navigate chosen social situations
- Learn what kind of play and downtime they enjoy most
- Grow independence in everyday routines like dressing, eating, and using the toilet
- Cope with big feelings and manage frustration more effectively
- Gain confidence in self-advocating for themselves

How ORL provides care

A Dedicated Team for Every Child
At ORL, your child won’t be assigned to just one provider; they’ll be supported by a clinical team that includes a Program Manager, Consultant, and Clinical Services Supervisor.
With three sets of expert eyes assigned to each case, you can be sure that ORL pays close and careful attention to every detail of the ABA program. This unique supervisory structure keeps our professional staff members’ case loads small and helps ensure that they deliver very high quality services to each of their clients.

Progress you can see and feel
ORL designs the comprehensive ABA programs it supervises with the goal of helping ORL’s clients achieve robust gains. Therefore, we evaluate our program effectiveness on three tiers:
- Daily evidence of the child’s progress
- Week-to-week or month-to-month checks for skill acquisition and use in real life situations
- Annual comprehensive re-evaluation across all relevant domains (such as language, social and adaptive behavior).

A comprehensive approach to care
Designing comprehensive programming for children and teens with autism demands knowledge of a vast array of topics. To help ensure our clients receive the best care possible, we coordinate our care with other professionals with specialized training.
We have built many strong relationships with Speech Language Pathologists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, and teachers to ensure your child receives cohesive, well-rounded support at every stage of their journey.

Your child’s voice matters
We believe your child should be at the center of their own support. We incorporate your child’s preferences and interests when developing goals and choosing teaching methods. We may also use self-report tools, when appropriate, alongside skill assessments to make sure their perspective helps guide their treatment. Our goal is to build not only skills but also self-advocacy and confidence. ORL practices assent-based care. Similar to ‘consent’, assent in intervention is your child’s way of agreeing – happily, comfortably, and maybe even enthusiastically- to participate in learning. ORL monitors each child’s assent throughout each session and the entire intervention process and uses their feedback to adjust programs, goals, and sometimes the staff assigned to the case.

And so does yours
You know your child best. Our team will ask you to complete detailed questionnaires and planning tools to help us understand your child’s routines, motivations, and challenges. Your initial and ongoing input and priorities shape the direction of our work, so every session feels aligned with your goals as a family.
What ABA services may look like for your child
We create highly individualized plans for every client, so we can’t tell you exactly what services will look like until we spend time with your child. However, to give you an idea of what a session could entail, here are a few examples of client session schedules.
